Out Of Character Rules
•Respect all members and staff. Staff has the final word on any OOC or IC issues that arise, please respect this.
•No godmoding, powerplaying, or metaplaying. For reference here are their definitions: Godmoding is treating your character as if they are all-powerful or invincible. This includes being unrealistic with dodges, attack power, elements, intelligence, etc. Powerplaying is controlling another player's character without their express permission. This rule is slackened when both players are in agreement. Metaplaying is imparting your character with knowledge they haven't gained in character. In order for your character to know something, they must experience it in roleplay. In order for your character to know another character, they must meet them or have been told about them in roleplay. This rule can be bent slightly in terms of pups knowing their parents or siblings without technically "meeting" them. If you're unsure if a situation involves or will involve any of these three things, please feel free to ask a member of staff. We're happy to explain in more detail.
•Each character must have it's own thread. We don't have a character limit but please be aware of what sort of posting load you can handle.
•Refrain from "post coming" or "place claim" posts. While generally they are allowed but frowned upon, they are strictly forbidden in group roleplays, meetings, events, or spars.
•There is a post minimum of seven decent sentences. We strongly encourage mirror posting and doing your best to give the person you're playing with a good amount to respond to. Overall, though, we prefer quality over quantity. However, do use proper English when you post.
•Any tense (past, present) and either first- or third-person perspective may be used in your posts, but please be sure they're legible and able to be understood by the people who are writing with you.
•Please note the following dimensions:
Avatar: 100 x 100 px
Tables: 500px max width And please, make sure the font is legible.
